General Forum Guidelines
Posting
- Do not spam any particular topic or thread with rapid posting. Your posts will be merged or removed.
- Do not make one-sentence or one-image posts. This is also spam.
- Post only in the appropriate forums. (i.e. Don't post an introduction in the Deck Dome.)
Abusive Behavior, Inappropriate Content, and the Filter
- Posting insulting content that continues to badger a member after they have told you to stop is considered abusive behavior. Respect your fellow forum goers, please conduct yourself in a civilized manner.
- Specifically posting to target and harm a certain member will not be tolerated.
- Do not post any content that might be deemed inappropriate. This includes but is not limited to: Racial, sexual, or otherwise hateful material; Any content unsuitable for minors.
- Do not in any way evade the filter that has been set in place. It's there for a reason.
- Do not use an overly extensive amount of filtered words in any topic, thread, or post. This is considered filter spam, and your content will be edited.
Avatars and Signatures
-All avatars and signatures must be appropriate for younger users. They cannot contain any sexual or pornographic material.
-Avatars and signatures cannot be used a vehicle to break any of the above rules, meaning any avatar or signature that is offensive, hateful, or derogatory, is not allowed.
Punishments
- Any clear violation of any of the above rules will be punished in such a manner linear to the severity of your actions. Moderators will remove any inappropriate content form your posts, or may remove them completely if they are deemed spam. You should receive a verbal warning for minor violations.
- Continued rule-breaking will result in a step-up in your next punishment, as to be decided by the moderator handling the situation.
- Any further rule-breaking will be directly handled by a chancellor, and will most likely result in a ban from specific sections, content limit, or an outright forum ban.
- A clear violation of the terms of the avatar and signature rules will result in a verbal warning, and the removal of said graphic.
-Continued violations may result in an avatar ban, or any further punishment in accordance with the severity of your actions.
- Any and all staff reserve the right to increase or lower the severity of punishment to each situation accordingly.
